I was thinking of you tonight.

You do not have to shout, for Him to hear.

My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation.
Psalms 62:1

You are not invisible, unknown.  You are seen, known, and understood.

O LORD, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thought from afar.
Psalms 139:1, 2

You do not have to be afraid.

‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Isaiah 41:10

You do not have to be good enough.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8

You do not have to be strong enough.

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
2 Corinthians 12:9

You do not have to be enough.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God
Ephesians 2:8

You do not have to be stained by regret, ruined by shame, undone by mistakes.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9

You are never too late, too little, too gone, too hard, too numb, too confused or too far. You are not alone. You are not unloved.

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38, 39

On this February morning, may the compassion of Christ tend you, untangle your thoughts, regather your courage, remind you of what is true, reset your gaze, and relight your path.

For the goodness that is His glory,
